Visit of the Palestinian Ambassador to the University of Blida 2 Lounici Ali

On Wednesday morning, 22/03/2023, the rector of the University of Blida 2, Prof. Khaled Ramoul, accompanied by vice rectors and deans of faculties, welcomed the Palestinian ambassador, Dr. Faiz Abu Aita and his adviser, Dr. Achraf Abu Ameur, as well as the delegation that accompanied them, as part of their participation in the activities of the inaugural session of the General Union of Free Students, El Affroun section, which commemorated the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people, bearing the slogan Palestine…a right against oblivion.

During his opening speech, the Palestinian ambassador addressed his warmest thanks and expressions of appreciation to the rector for the warm welcome and the permanent support to the Palestinian students, of whom there are 21 at the
above mentioned university, enrolled in bachelor’s degree, master’s and doctorate, in various specialties, particularly in law. Dr. Fayez Abu Aita also hailed the loyalty of Algerian memory and its infinite and continued support for the Palestinian cause.

For his part, the rector welcomed the Palestinian ambassador and the delegation that accompanied him, and made a brief presentation of the University of Blida 2.

The rector also underlined that his university continues to work to support Palestinian students throughout their scientific and academic career, provide them with all the facilities, and make available to them all facilities, allowing
them to pursue their scientific career.

At the end of the activities of the inaugural session, the rector honored the Palestinian ambassador and the delegation that accompanied him. For his part, the Palestinian ambassador honored the rector.
