On April 25, 2018, in the presence of the director of the University of Blida 2 Lounici Ali Prof. Khaled Ramoul, the Faculty of Law and Political Science, together with the Laboratory of Law and Real Estate and the Laboratory of Local Communities and their Role in Development, organized a national forum on “Constitutional Control in the Algerian Constitutional System – Reality and Prospects -” This is on 25 and 26 April 2018.
Professors, doctors and doctoral students from various universities in the country, such as Blida University 2, University of Algiers 1, University of Tlemcen, University of Oran, University of Djelfa, participated in the forum, which witnessed a strong turnout for master and doctoral students during the days of 25 and 26 April 2018.
The program of the Forum included four axes on: the institutional structure of the Constitutional Council, the procedural system of the work of the Constitutional Council, and the promotion of unconstitutionality.
The forum included several interventions and discussions highlighting the scientific value such as the role of the Constitutional Council in overseeing the constitutionality of international treaties in Algeria according to the 2016 constitutional amendment, the institutional structure of the Constitutional Council, the Constitutional Texts and its powers …
The forum aims to identify the development of the constitutional experience in the field of constitutional control, a study of the procedural system of the Algerian Constitutional Council, to show the extent of integration between the constitutional judiciary and the administrative judiciary, to benefit and deepen knowledge by studying the experiences of some countries in the field of pushing unconstitutional, especially since Algeria will go through the experiment for the first time after the amendment The last constitutional 2016, with the beginning of March 2019 next.
