On the occasion of International Women’s Day, on March 07, 2018, the Vice-Presidency of the University’s Directorate of Foreign Relations, Cooperation, Activation and Scientific Events organized in cooperation with the Media Club of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and in the presence of the Director of Blida University 2 Lounici Ali Prof. Khaled Ramoul.
The ceremony witnessed an invitation to some famous national and media women, headed by the Mujahid and the actress Shafia Boudraa and the national media Mrs. Zahia Ben Arous. The honoring ceremony was also attended by the deputies of the university directorates and the deans of the faculties, in addition to the heavy presence of female students and employees on their International Day of March 08 amid media coverage. During the ceremony, several interventions were presented in the opening speech of the Rector, highlighting the value of women in society and the status reached by her, and the speech delivered by the Deputy Director in charge of External Relations, Prof. Dr. Salima Misrati, highlighting the value of women in accordance with the rights approved by the Constitution and the decisions issued to promote the status of women The ceremony witnessed several cultural performances and this is dedicated to the theatrical performance presented by the theater theater of life from the municipality of Efron and various songs for the music band Bassma art and singing in the framework of this celebration.
The university officials congratulated all the women of the university on their international day and thanked them for their efforts and their effective role in the functioning of the university in particular and the society in general and the necessity of their actual and real integration in the wheel of economic and social development. The ceremony also witnessed honorary honors for guests, employees and students on the occasion of their International Day and presented them with symbolic gifts and honorary certificates.
