Honoring ceremony in honor of the former Director of the University Prof. Dr. Chaalal Ahmed

The Presidency of the University organized this morning 04 July 2017 at 10:30 am a ceremony in honor of the former President of the University, Prof. Dr. Shaalal Ahmed (Deputy Hayya of the National People’s Assembly) in the presence of the Rector and his deputies, deans and their deputies, secretaries-general, professors and students, after the opening speech Welcoming the attendance by the Vice Chancellor in charge of External Relations, Cooperation, Activation, Communication and Demonstrations Ms Misrati Salima, the University President, Mr. Ramol Khalid, gave a word of thanks and gratitude to the former Director for all the efforts exerted and good offices made. A throughout assuming the post of President of the University and the great virtues in his contribution to the visual University and its openness to the middle of socioeconomic, and congratulated him on his way, on behalf of the National People’s Assembly and wished him every success in his new duties.

Later, Mr. Shaalal Ahmed addressed the meeting and thanked everyone for this kind attention and wished success to all and that he would always serve the university and the higher education sector in general. In the same context, the word was given to Mr. Ben Tayfour Belkacem, the former vice-president of the university in charge of external relations, cooperation, activation, communication and demonstrations. He thanked everyone for this honor and wished everyone success in his duties.

In the end, symbolic gifts were distributed to the guests of honor in a fraternal atmosphere, after which the audience came down to the flag square on the occasion of the double anniversary of Youth and Independence Day.
