Ali LOUNICI – BLIDA 2 University hosted two days of study, October 15 and 16, 2018, related to the Week of the Italian Language in the World in its 18th edition, whose theme is “Italian and the network , networks for Italian “.
The Week of the Italian Language in the World is an initiative of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Crusca Academy, under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic. The event, whose first edition was held in October 2001 (European Year of Languages), aims to promote the Italian language, perceived as a language of culture, in its multiple aspects.
The Italian Department of Blida 2 University was created in 1992 under the auspices of some valuable teachers. It contains, to date, 800 students enrolled in both cycles: Bachelor and Master.
It should be noted that, this 18th edition was rich in scientific and cultural interventions very beneficial for all students and teachers of the Faculty of Arts and Languages since communicants have alternated between the use of the French language and the use of the Italian language.
The inauguration ceremony of the 18th edition of the week of the Italian language was initiated on 15.10.2018 from 09.30, by the national anthem of the two countries, sung in honor of the guests and History of friendship between the two neighbors of both shores of the Mediterranean. The Rector of the University: Prof. RAMOUL Khaled delivered a speech in which he presented the availability of his institution to enrich the Italian language and culture as a whole, pedagogical, cultural and cultural, emphasizing the willingness of the authorities of our university to open a Doctorate competition in the various disciplines of the Italian language. Following the speech of His Excellency Pasquale FERRARA who presented the theme of this 18th edition “Italiano and Rete, reti per l’italiano” through an address advocating the promotion of the Italian language in the era of new technologies .
During the workshops that took place during the two days of study, the speakers of whom we quote some names: Maria Battaglia, Pier Cesare Rivoltella, Maurizio Parodi, MELZI Abdelhalim, Annamaria Poeta, Salvatore Cingari, ADDOU Merouane, CHEKALIL Aicha, Stefania Iannizzotto, Raffaella Setti, presented works on the importance of the Italian language in its grammatical, orthographic and syntactic strata used in social networks, for Italian natives and Italian speakers, from the rest of the world.
The two study days were closed on 16.10.2018 at 16h, with the presence of the official representatives of the Faculty of Letters and Languages, the university and all teachers and students.
