Lectures by Dr. Libi “Mohamed Hashem Magura” for the benefit of students of Master and Ph.D., Faculty of Law and Political Science

On April 19, 2018, Dr. Mohamed Hashim Makoura, a professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Tripoli, Libya, gave a lecture to the students of the specialization “International Law” entitled “The Challenges of the Permanent International Criminal Court”. The lecture focused on the following points: :

• Historical development of international criminal justice
• The principles upon which this judicial institution is based
• Challenges facing the ICC
• Current problems raised by the texts in the Rome Statute
